In this update - Awards increased! Reminder about practice tourney and a lecture from Josh Donn
Hot off the press!
The award payout for the NABC Online Individual has been significantly increased. Possibly due to the large number of players who have indicated their support of the event by registering, ACBL has just confirmed an increase in the total number of awards, to 67 places for each daily session and 187 places for the overalls. But wait, there is more good news!
Points count towards the Mini-McKenney Race and the Fishbein Trophy!
This is an NABC event with full recognition. We have received the official word - all points earned will count towards the Mini-McKenney Race (masterpoint race for points earned at ACBL sanctioned tournaments and clubs, excluding online), as well as the Fishbein Trophy (awarded to the player who wins the most masterpoints at the Summer NABC).
This does mean the points earned in this event do not count towards the Ace of Clubs (for points won at a local sanctioned club) and Online Race (for most points won online).
If you're on the fence and wondering if you should play - well, now is surely the time. Register now and pay just $40. In a few days' time (Starting July 20) the early registration discount will end and the fee will be $50.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so this is all you get in this issue. Be inspired. Be bold. Be registering!
